New Main Office
LAKE CHARLES, LA (February 22, 2022) – Today, Calcasieu Teachers & Employees Credit Union celebrated the future home of their Lake Charles branch with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by credit union Board and staff members, representatives from the city and parish, representatives from the Louisiana Credit Union League, and representatives from the school board and area schools. The branch will be constructed on the corner of E McNeese Street and Southpark Drive by Kern Architects and Lincoln Builders, Inc.
Construction is set to begin in the coming weeks and is slated to be completed by the fall of 2022. The new branch will provide a better location to the members and better visibility in the city. Staff from the current Lake Charles branch will transition to the new branch upon its opening.
“We are very grateful to CPSB for allowing us to use this space to serve our members,” said CTECU’s President/CEO, Jesse Busby. “We would not be where we are today without them. We look forward to the future and believe our members will enjoy the new branch in a more convenient location, with the same trusted staff members that they have always done business with.”
The credit union’s existing Lake Charles branch, located in one of the school board’s facilities, will be used for school board needs upon the completion of the new branch.
